Mini facelift is a smaller-scale face surgery involving periauricular facelift (called mini facelift) helping to remove deep wrinkles and loose skin. Mini facelift is a less extensive alternative to common facelift with excellent effects.
How is mini facelift performed?
The surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia and only a lesser amount of the skin is removed around the external ear, without affecting the muscles and ligaments of the face.
Although the results are less radical than in full-scale facelift, they are fully satisfactory in patients over 70. Moreover, this surgery represents minimal burden for the patient with regard to their health condition. Mini facelift can be also combined with eyelid surgery and other rejuvenating procedures for better results.
