Prosthetics deals with making fixed (crowns, bridges) and removable (dentures) dental prostheses in cases where there is a loss of teeth. In collaboration with our own laboratory, we make all types of prosthetic restorations, i.e. crowns, bridges (metallo-plastic, metallo-ceramics, ceramics), removable partial and full dentures, special prosthetic work (plug-in connections, hybrid replacement, glass pillars).
As regards treatment of teeth with dental crowns, ceramics belongs to the most perfect materials, both from the aesthetic point of view and for other reasons (health reasons, hardness, etc.).
Most often, the so-called metallo-ceramic crown is used. It is very convenient also for larger prosthetic bridges. As its name indicates, ceramics is burned onto a metal crown under vacuum. After cementing onto the tooth stump, the metal cannot be seen at all.
Sometimes, metal free ceramics or porcelain is used. These replacements are usually more suitable for smaller-scale procedures, both facets or inlays (little fillings made in the laboratory and then glued into or on the tooth), or individual crowns and smaller bridges. This procedure also belongs to the most expensive aesthetic and cosmetic prosthetic dental treatment.
The work also includes prosthetic dentures - partial or total (for the toothless mouth) ones.
